AGNES is all about innovation and research!

After a lengthy authorization process, we have obtained permission to study the generation of green hydrogen from seawater and the effects of releasing oxygen back into the water.


Over the past fifty years, seas and oceans have lost an average of 2% of their oxygen content. The harmful effects are particularly evident in the northern Adriatic and the Venetian Lagoon, where these conditions have become lethal for fish and clams.

A small floating lab in the waters of the Venetian Lagoon, near the port of Marghera, will allow us to work with universities to explore the potential benefits of green hydrogen production and the release of oxygen directly into the sea.
