Founded in Ravenna in 1998, the company specializes in developing renewable energy, from the design of plants to their installation and maintenance. Today, Qint’x is an internationally minded SME with offices abroad in Hong Kong (China), Reading (UK), Vienna (Austria), Palo Alto (California), and Rotterdam (Netherlands). In Italy, the company has installed over 150 wind turbines and developed more than 20 photovoltaic parks. Recognized as a significant SME in the national energy sector, Qint’x possesses the skills and expertise necessary to develop and implement offshore parks in the Adriatic Sea.
F2i SGR is Italy’s largest independent infrastructure fund manager, with over €7 billion in assets under management across sectors such as transport and logistics, energy transition, distribution networks, telecommunications networks, healthcare infrastructure, and the circular economy. Since 2008, F2i has been one of the first funds in Italy to believe in and invest in renewable energy and the energy transition.
We collaborate with the Master in Offshore Engineering at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna for the joint development of our floating photovoltaic plants. This partnership allows us to leverage the university’s state-of-the-art laboratories at the Bologna campus to enhance our R&D efforts. Additionally, we benefit from a talent exchange, welcoming students into the company for internships and thesis work related to our projects. Together with UniBo, we are also beginning the application process for a water concession off the coast of Ravenna to serve as a marine laboratory for testing activities.
